NDC ASPECTS at the COP26

Ratcheting up climate ambition requires an assessment not only of progress towards emission targets but also of processes that can increase climate ambition – as well as barriers preventing progress. NDC ASPECTS' members Wuppertal Institute and IDDRI will represent the project in a COP26 side event at the EU Pavilion, along with the independent Global Stocktake initiative and the Carbon Disclosure Project. The event will focus on the Global Stocktake and feature discussions on methodological insights for how to assess Party and non-Party actions in a bottom-up manner by presenting examples from different countries.

The event will take place at the EU Pavillion in COP26 and online on 10 November, 12:30 CET (11:30 GMT).
